Our Journey

From Sulur Roots to Phoenix Wings

Founded in 2021 as the Rotary Club of Coimbatore, Sulur, our club underwent a transformative step in 2023, stepping forward as the Rotary Club of Coimbatore Phoenix. Like our namesake, we represent growth, resilience, continuous renewal, and an unwavering commitment to serving others.

Coimbatore has rebuilt itself time and again through changing eras, and we take our name as a guiding instruction: to restart, innovate, and rise to meet new challenges head-on. Driven by Rotary International's core motto, Service Above Self, and our club's guiding principle of Love and Compassion, we channel our collective energy toward health, education, youth empowerment, and rural community welfare.

Our Working Principles

The Four-Way Test, first

Of the things we think, say, or do, we ask four questions before every decision.

⚖️

Is it the TRUTH?

Rotarians commit to honesty in everything they do — in business, relationships and service.

🤝

Is it FAIR to all concerned?

We consider the interests of all parties before making decisions that affect others.

🌱

Will it build GOODWILL and better friendships?

Every action is measured by whether it strengthens friendships and community bonds.

💡

Will it be BENEFICIAL to all concerned?

We ask whether our actions benefit all concerned — not just ourselves or our club.

Accountability & Open Books

Every rupee raised and spent is audited and open to donors and members alike.

Built to Last

We budget for long-term project maintenance from day one — because sustainable impact requires continuous care.
